Each month, staff members at Moberly School District nominate their peers who go above and beyond their job descriptions to help students and other staff members. This month, our team nominated Mrs. Tessa Rivera, an Interventionist at Gratz Brown Elementary, to earn the First Student Award.
Here's what Mrs. Rivera's colleagues had to say about her contributions: "Mrs. Rivera goes above and beyond every day for the students at GBE. She encourages them to try their best and reminds them they can do hard things. She greets the students every morning with a smile and a 'Have a good day!'. Mrs. Rivera not only does this with her students, but she also greets all students in the building. She is always willing to help her coworkers and is there to collaborate to ensure students are set up for success. Mrs. Rivera is not only an amazing teacher, but she is also an amazing coworker!"
