This week, Moberly School District celebrates the MPS Foundation's Distinguished Alumni & Retirees who will be honored at the Homecoming game on Friday, September 26.
Della Cochran has dedicated her life to education and community service. A graduate of Moberly High School and Truman State University, she earned her master’s in Elementary Administration from William Woods University and certifications in both teaching and gifted education. Over her career, Della taught elementary and gifted students in several Missouri districts, led curriculum development, and mentored colleagues. Beyond the classroom, she has been an active leader in her community, serving as president of organizations such as the Moberly Spartan Booster Club and Moberly Area Council of the Arts, while also volunteering through her church and civic groups. Through her teaching, leadership, and service, Della has positively impacted generations of students and the broader Moberly community.
The Foundation will be hosting a meet & greet for these honorees before the Homecoming football game on 9/26 starting at 6 PM at the Rotary Pavilion. All those attending the game are invited to attend.
