We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to become a part of the Moberly Public Schools Foundation. The Foundation was established in September, 1996 to attract development dollars from the private sector to benefit programs an educational opportunities in the Moberly Public Schools.

It is our belief that the Foundation will enable the Moberly Public Schools to enhance services, programs, and activities, by providing an avenue in which to assist in the planning, promotion, direction and prioritizing of the many uses for private contributions.

The need for private, beyond-taxpayer support of education is nothing new. The prosperity an growth of Moberly are directly related to the performance of our educational system. Educational programs enriched through the support of the private sector can make the difference between "adequate" and "superior". A superior education is critical in order to meet the growing demand for prepared graduates who are capable of entering today's changing workforce.

Moberly schools are operating under state and federal educational budgets which are unable to keep pace with inflation. The Foundation will enable you the opportunity to support more fully a higher quality in our schools, by providing and enhancing programs and activities which cannot be funded adequately by tax dollars.

Addressing The Educational Needs of the Moberly Public Schools

Contributions may be undesignated, which allow the Foundation Maximum flexibility in addressing the educational needs of the Moberly Public Schools. Donors may also designate or specify how they wish their gifts to be used. For example:

• a named gift in memory of someone
• a named gift in honor of someone
• gift to support a specific service, program or activity
